Skimos is hosting our annual end-of-year Banquet at the Eagle Mountain House on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM.

The cost is $78 per person and includes a delicious 3-course meal plus dancing with the Jonathan Sarty Band.

Heywood Satz “Woody” was born in New York in 1935.

Occasionally even his mother would call him “Woody”.

Woody has been a Skimos member since 1993, and when I met him was skiing using rear-entry boots.

Woody was a genuine rocket scientist working on the propulsion system for Raytheon.

He celebrated his “I was born a day late” 90th birthday on 26-Dec-2025, and his amazing partner Helen Marcus helped celebrated with the Skimos on 2-Jan-2026.

Enjoy Irish fare at the Shannon Door Irish Pub & Restaurant, where you can also catch live music four nights a week. For all-American dishes, head to Red Fox Bar & Grille, which boasts wood-fired pizzas and 17 handcrafted draught beers. If you’re looking for a quick, casual bite, the J-Town Deli Country Store serves delicious breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and lunch deli favorites in a rustic locale.
